Glassford Community Group was originally set up with the support of Councillor Margaret Cooper to carry out fundraising to redevelop the playpark in the village. The original committee and group completed all of the necessary fundraising to complete two phases of redevelopment which opened in July 2017.
The current committee comprises Chair James Newall, Treasurer David Kilby and Secretary Les Hoggan, supported by a hard working and dedicated group of volunteers.
Glassford Community Group is looking for the support of as many members of the community as possible and would ask you to formally register your support, either as an active member of the Group, or as a member of the community who supports the objectives and would like to be kept informed of progress and plans.
